Eight supermodels, 10 days, one world-class fashion photographer---it was a Sports Illustrated swimsuit photo shoot almost too perfect to imagine.

In its annual Swimsuit Issue 10 years ago, "Sports Illustrated" first presented spectacular photographs of gorgeous models in swimsuits that consisted of nothing more than paint artistically and painstakingly applied to their bodies.
