Chris Dorley-Brown has been documenting East London's changing landscape for the last three decades - this time he has turned his lens on its street corners... but with an unusual twist. Shot between 2009 and 2017, these documentary photographs are composed from multiple exposures, a technique that enables Dorley-Brown to play out different narratives simultaneously, creating surreal, dream-like scenes. A dog walker and an elderly man with his groceries both appear on the street corner of a halfdemolished hospital, but in reality they weren t ever there at the same time.
