About
Bookoff was established in 2008 as a bookstore specializing in art, photography, design, and architecture. The store’s aim is to sell rare art books,
which are frequently unavailable elsewhere on the Polish market. The bookstore’s offer includes a wide selection of the most interesting art titles from publishers such as Phaidon, Gestalten Verlag, Thames and Hudson, Laurence King Publishing, Steidl, Aperture, Prestel, Random House, and MIT Press.
Today, Bookoff has two art bookstores in Warsaw - located at the temporary locations of the Museum of Modern Art and in Ogrodowa Street in Warsaw, with a wide selection of books dealing with subjects such as architecture, graphic design, multimedia, fine arts, performance, art history, and theory, photography and culinary art.
For the past four years, Bookoff has been the co-organizer of the Polish Photobook of the Year competition. Additionally, the bookstore takes an active part in cultural initiatives by participating in projects organized by Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Since 2009, Bookoff has been cooperating and exhibiting at events such as the Łódź Design Festival, the Photofestival, Fashion Week Poland, The Warsaw Book Fair, and the Culinary Book Fair.
Since 2015 Bookoff has been organizing The Warsaw Art Bookfair, the largest trade event in Poland dedicated to art books. Welcome to our bookstore.
